A successful Boy Scout Troop provides countless experiences and training for the boys in the Troop, but none of that is possible without YOUR help!  As an adult leader, you provide the leadership and guidance for the boys to successfully run their troop and one of the most important things to have around for the boys to be able to succeed is a well trained group of adult leaders.

The first step in becoming an adult leader is the application.  After you've completed your application turn it in to the troop committee at the next meeting.

Second, complete the online Youth Protection Training at myscouting.org.  The sign-up is free and the training doesn't take long.

Finally, learn how you can get involved--whether as a merit badge counselor, Committee Member or Assistant Scoutmaster--there are lots of ways to help the young boys grow and develop into our future leaders of tomorrow.  Now that you're an Adult Leader  explore the training options below.  As a trained adult leader you'll be an invaluable asset to the boys and the troop.
